Finishing techniques, although often considered an after-thought, in fact are one of the most critical components of a project. The finishing of an item is the difference between "hand-crafted" and "homemade". This class focuses on gaining experience in a variety of techniques to understand both their pros and cons and when to apply them. Techniques covered in class include seaming, picking up stitches, weaving in ends and blocking. |

Swatch, yarn (4 oz total for the project) and knitting needles used to create swatch, tapestry needles (blunt & sharp) and stitch holder. |

Complete swatch in smooth, light colored, worsted weight yarn. CO 39 sts. Work in K1, P1 rib for 1". Work in stockinet an additional 3". Place sts on holder. |
